The team bounced back well after a difficult game week last week. This week was much more positive with 120 points on the board and a jump of around 2,000 places on the leaderboard. Hopefully, the team can now push on and stop yo-yoing around the 2,000-5,000 point. Ideally, I’d like a final push to finish within the top 1,000 teams, which would have seemed almost impossible before the World Cup after a terrible start to the season. Mahrez was the highlight of my game week with a hat trick in the FA Cup. Typically he was then benched in the game after but that’s the way it goes. De Bruyne, Saka, Haaland, Kane and Rashford all scored double-figure points as well. My defense let me down a little this week with Ake being out injured, Dias scoring -1 point and De Gea only getting 4 points despite keeping a clean sheet. I think it was the right move to stick with Ake as there was no obvious transfer to make. Having said that, I’ll be looking to utilise my final two transfers this weekend.

Player watchlist

It’s now difficult to look beyond Man City players as they push on to win the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup. I’m considering players like Grealish, Ederson, and Stones. However, I’m still going to be a little cautious about going too heavy on City players as the likes of Salah, Fernandes, and Rashford could still finish the season well.

Plan for game week 32

I plan to use my final two transfers if I can find suitable players to bring in. I’m also cautious about who I bring in as it doesn’t look like we will get any additional transfers in June. If Man City don’t reach the Champions League final, this will only affect the FA Cup but it’s still worth considering. It’s very tempting to simply load up on Man City players but only one of them can pick up the star man points in each game and who knows if the Madrid games will be low scoring or not. Not owning Salah is also risky but at the same time, Rashford and Kane are scoring equally as well. Although with Spurs only playing once this week – against Liverpool. I could be tempted to swap him out for Salah who has a double game week. If it backfires, I’d still have a transfer to bring Kane back in. Ultimately, there’s a lot to think about before the weekend and I’ve not finalised my plans yet as it will depend on whether Ake is back from injury.

I’ve also updated the fixtures spreadsheet below, this is manually put together but should now cover all fixtures until the end of the season:
