I’ve been away this week so I’ll keep the game week review fairly brief. The bottom line is that the team dropped slightly on the leaderboard – if I were further down it would be insignificant, however when I’m close to the top 100 it feels like a much bigger drop. The biggest issue this week was Bowen picking up 18 points and Saka only picking up 4. Ironically I took Bowen out for Saka last week and this is probably the only reason I dropped on the leaderboard. My good luck couldn’t last throughout the entire season and this is an example of a little bit of bad luck – had Saka played against Luton it could have been a different story. As I am short on time and we are fairly close to needing to make a decision on transfers, I’m not going to run through each player in my team, I’ll just skip straight to potential transfer decisions.
The only player I’d really want to take out is Watkins but I’d ideally like to bring in Bowen and Nunez. The other player with a question mark against them to make this happen is Saka but it sounds like he might be fit to play this week and is possibly a better option if he does play. I’ll confirm for certain in the morning but I’m tempted to simply do Watkins to Bowen this week and leave it at that.
