I’ve made a good start to the season and I could easily not make any transfers this week. However, while I’m on the front foot, I’m going to try and be proactive to refine my team while other managers might be using transfers to put out a number of fires in their teams. Hopefully, this gives me an advantage going forward.
I’m taking Johnstone out for Sanchez, as I see it as a slight upgrade and Sanchez has more chance of going up in value this week. I’m also bringing in Maddison, this isn’t because I want to take Mitoma out, it’s more because I want to bring Maddison in. It does help that Maddison is likely to go up in value though. I may come back to Mitoma when European fixtures are in full swing but at the moment I like Maddison’s fixtures and form. Players I was close to bringing in were Rodri, Bowen and Foden if you’re looking for alternative options.
