Really tricky week for making changes due to many different factors involved – injury to Tsimikas, wanting Olise but only for this week (and does he play both games?) Salah and Son both leaving shortly for International duty and upcoming extra fixtures for Liverpool and Chelsea in the EFL Cup. I’m still not certain I’m making the right call but I think it’s one of those weeks where I’ll never be happy with my final decision. I’m going to try and cover all bases and I think this works:
– Remove Tsimikas
– Bring in two Chelsea players for the additional fixtures
– Have Olise just for this week (no game next week)
– keep Salah and Son for their good fixtures this week but have two transfers for next week to take them out (fingers crossed for no injuries)
The only way to do this is to play the 12th man booster and make Olise the 12th man. I’m then swapping:
Tsimikas out, Colwill in
Ward-Prowse out, Palmer in
This time next week I’ll then be looking to swap Salah and Son for a couple of Chelsea or Liverpool players I’d imagine. Right now it looks like a fairly logical solid plan. However, it could all fall apart very quickly with an injury and a poor score for Olise but if it goes the other way I’ll kick myself for not having him this week.
