Really tricky week when it comes to making transfers as there are three players I’d like to lose – Sanchez, Tsimikas and Alvarez. If I could swap Sanchez for Johnstone and Tsimikas for Fernandes this would be the move I’d make but I’m no where near able to afford that. Fernandes is top of my list to bring in this week though as he should go up in value and Man Utd play Luton. As a result, I’m moving on Alvarez. There’s a chance he might still do well but he’s only scored over 3 points once in City’s last 6 games so he’s not in the best of form even if he starts. This leaves me with -0.9m so I need to significantly downgrade someone else in my team. I’m keen to hold the big hitters such as Salah, Haaland, Saka and TAA. As a result, I started looking at Tsimikas. He’s served me well with good points in previous weeks but there is a question mark against whether he will start this weekend. As a result I’m moving him on. I then searched for players I could afford filtered against teams with the best fixtures. One option stood out – Lascelles. He’s only 2m and should play at the back for Newcastle, who have a decent fixture. He won’t be a long term choice but this should set me up nicely for the game week ahead.
