Top 10 Highest Scoring Defenders 2023/2024

Top 10 Highest Scoring Defenders 2023/2024

With the game about to be released, it’s useful to take stock of the best performing players from last season. This blog outlines the top 10 highest scoring defenders for the 2023/2024 season. Hopefully, this information will be useful for team selection for the next campaign.

1. White (Arsenal) – 266 points
2. Gabriel (Arsenal) – 247 points
3. Saliba (Arsenal) – 238 points
4. Gvardiol (Man City) – 224 points
5. Dalot (Man Utd) – 223 points
6. Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) – 223 points
7. Porro (Spurs) – 216 points
8. van Dijk (Liverpool) – 212 points
9. Walker (Man City) – 205 points
10. Trippier (Newcastle) – 204 points

Once again we see that teams who finish higher up in the league have more representation than teams lower down. The list is dominated by Arsenal, Man City, and Liverpool players (with the exception of Dalot, Porro and Trippier). At this stage, it’s hardly worth considering defenders from teams outside of these clubs for the season ahead, much easier said than done though as all of the players above come at a high cost. It’s also worth noting that defenders didn’t score particularly well last season with only White making the top 20 highest point scorers on the game.
