Just a quick update after the semi finals. No clean sheets for anyone so defence becomes largely irrelevant. My two Spanish midfielders did well and it was good to see Kane on the scoresheet. Mbappe did OK as captain. The results meant I’m going to have 11 players in the final. After a bit of a hit and miss tournament, I’m around 4,000th on the leaderboard, which isn’t great but I’ve had a reasonable amount of bad luck along the way.
Matchday 7 Team Locked In
I’m locking my team in for the final now – this may be subject to change very late on based on the team news so keep an eye on the WhatsApp notifications group. I’m mainly bringing in Spain players, purely from a footballing point of view, I think most of us would agree that they’ve been the best team in the tournament so I’m backing them to do well again. I’ve gone for Olmo as captain as he’s done well for points considering he wasn’t a certain starter at the beginning of the tournament.
