Modric (MID – 4m)
Croatia are usually a team that go under the radar. I’m not sure I’ll be heavily looking at their players though given the group they are in. However, if I did want to target the Albania game, Modric would be a player that I’d be looking at given his quality.
Gvardiol (DEF – 4m)
Has been in great form for City towards the end of the season. I’m not sure he’s good value at 4m but could be one to look at for the Albania game. Although I’m not sure it’s worth it for a single fixture.
Summary
If Croatia had an easy group I’d be tempted to look at Modric and Gvardiol, however, given their draw I’m not sure I’ll be considering them during the group stage. It will all depend on how matchday 1 plays out but even then with only 3 transfers between fixture rounds I’m not sure I’d be bringing them in to want to take them out against Italy.
