With only 1 game week to go I’ll keep this review fairly short. I was fairly happy with game week 36. I’ve climbed a few places on the leaderboard thanks to taking a punt on Son as captain when most went for Haaland. Holding on Alexander-Arnold and bringing in Salah also went in my favour. Removing Isak wasn’t such a great move and I was stuck with Saka, however, I still wouldn’t have been many points better off as I’d have swapped Saka for Fernandes anyway who didn’t score overly well. All in all, I’m happy with how the game week panned out.
Plan for game week 38
The final game week and final game of the season is the FA Cup final. My transfers will be fairly straightforward for this one. Obviously, I’ll take out any two random players who aren’t featuring and I’ll be looking to bring in the likes of Fernandes, Rodri or Silva. I’m not sure who I’ll go for yet, it will depend on how risky I want to play it. I’ll confirm my moves over the weekend but I’m also likely to captain someone other than Haaland. It would be good to secure a finish within the top 200 so I’m tempted to take another captaincy punt.
