On the surface it was a decent game week, however, the reality is that it only resulted in a slight jump on the leaderboard. I think teams in the top 1,000 are all now looking very similar so it’s difficult to make any real progress up the table with so few games remaining. Despite a flat past few game weeks, I’m still delighted with my overall rank. If I roughly remain where I am, it will be my most successful season ever and I’d have taken a top 1,000 finish at the start of the season.
Here is my breakdown of each player:
Ederson – probably hold despite him going off injured.
Walker – happy with his first week in my team, stays for the remainder now.
Alexander-Arnold – could be one I look to move on this week.
Gvardiol – keep for the rest of the season.
De Bruyne – keep for the rest of the season, if he’s not injured.
Foden – keep for the rest of the season.
Palmer – keeping for this week.
Saka – keeping for this week.
Isak – could be tempted to move him on for the final game of the season.
Son – keeping for this week.
Haaland – keep for the rest of the season.
Plan for game week 36
I’m very undecided at the moment. The way I see it, I’ve got two options. I could simply load up on Man City players. I could take Alexander-Arnold out for another City defender and I could take Isak out for B. Silva or Rodri. I could then get another City player and Fernandes in for the FA Cup final. Alternatively, I could take a more risky approach and target the final round of Premier League fixtures, going after players with very low ownership in the hope of making a final push on the leaderboard. This could involve bringing someone like Maddison, Porro, Havertz, etc in. At the moment, I’m not sure which route to take. I’m half tempted to go for it with some curve balls as I think the FA Cup final might be a red herring – as it could well be a low scoring game.
What’s your thoughts on Salah captain?
Even though Liverpool have nothing to play for I think they are going to be right up for the game as a farewell send off for Klopps last game!?

I am currently second in my league 20pts off first and 3rd is 32pts behind me..
It’s £200 to enter my league with 40 players so lots of cash prizes to go for, I’m tempted to go risky this week as first is doing a good job at blocking me off at the min but I can’t see him going Salah as I think he will keep Son..
I might bring Salah in, my only concern is that other people will do the same. I might even captain Son though, it’s a tricky one as final weekend fixtures can be unpredictable when some teams have nothing to play for.
