Review of Game Week 32

Review of Game Week 32

Overall Rank: 336

Not a bad game week considering previous weeks, it’s the first time in a while that the team has gone up on the leaderboard rather than down. The two main factors that cost me a bigger jump were probably White scoring twice and a reasonable number of people appearing to be using boosters. Other than that I think I got most things right for the game week – Fernandes as captain was a great pick, even though a lot of people made the same move. Keeping De Bruyne and Foden was a good move and Saka also did well. I’m fairly happy with how the team has been set up and I think the slight dip in form of late has only really been down to bad luck with unexpected results in certain games, but I can’t complain overall as I’ve had so much more good luck than bad this season.

Here is my breakdown of each player:

Ederson – now he’s back, I may as well hold for the rest of the season.

Gabriel – will probably keep until the end of the season.

Alexander-Arnold – decent first week back in my team, will keep until the end of the season.

Van Dijk – ideally I’d take him out this week but I’ll probably prioritise other players.

De Bruyne – if he remains fit, could be one to keep for the rest of the season.

Foden – keeping for the rest of the season.

Diaz – will likely swap him out for Palmer this week.

Saka – keeping for the rest of the season.

Fernandes – happy to keep for now.

Salah – keep for the rest of the season despite poor recent form.

Haaland – keep for the rest of the season if fit but I’m not sure he will be for the weekend. May swap him for Watkins due to fixture volume.

Player watchlist

Palmer – slight question mark as he missed Chelsea’s last fixture but he’s been in great form.

Watkins – need him back in due to upcoming extra European fixtures.

White – if I had three transfers this week I’d bring him in for Van Dijk, it might be a transfer I never get to make.

Son – if you wanted to mix it up Son could be a good option with Spurs having two double game weeks coming up, probably not a move I’ll make though as this week’s fixtures are tough.

Plan for game week 33

This week could be fairly straightforward. If we don’t hear that Haaland is fit and given that City only have one fixture, I’ll be swapping him for Watkins. If Palmer has recovered from illness I’ll be bringing him in for Diaz. There’s nothing that tempts me other than those moves at the moment. The big decision will be who to captain. It would be between the two I’m bringing in for me given the double game week fixtures for them. Not sure who I’d go for at the moment but I’ll confirm in the morning.
