April Transfer One – Rojo In

April Transfer One – Rojo In

Out: Coleman
In: Rojo

After Coleman’s horrific injury during the international break, it’s a transfer I’ve been forced into making. As we are so close to kick off, I’ll keep the article brief. I’ve decided to bring in Rojo purely based on Man Utd’s run of fixtures during April. They have 9 games and could potentially have a further two or three fixtures in May should they progress in the Europa League. Man Utd are also short of defensive options with Smalling and Jones both currently out injured, so game time for Rojo could be quite high for the rest of the season. The other player I had considered was Alderweireld. I’ve purely gone for Rojo instead based on the amount of games he could feature in. This is a bit of a risk but at this stage of the season I’m hoping it won’t end up costing me too many points if the transfer doesn’t go well.

  1. could be a great idea this, Rojo not the most popular player but he was used alot by mourinho even without injuries. im not 100% convinced with stones as City always concede, might swap him out

    1. I think it’s a sensible move while Man Utd remain in the Europa League. I agree about Stones – I had him in purely based on his low value and the fact that every manager seemed to have him before. However his value has now risen and like you say, they always concede.
